mcvsc keeps your Minecraft world in sync between computers. Check it out, play, submit. Only the files that changed are sent, and every session is saved as a snapshot.
Like version control for your saves. One PC holds the world at a time, so two copies never drift apart.
checkoutTakes the lock on the world and downloads the latest version. Other PCs can't check it out until you're done.
Launch Minecraft as usual and play for as long as you like. mcvsc stays out of the way.
submitAfter you close the game, your changes are uploaded, a snapshot is saved, and the lock is released for your next PC.
Your hundreds of hours deserve better than a USB stick.
Only one PC can hold a world at a time. No more "which copy is the real one?"
Files that didn't change are never re-uploaded. A quick session takes seconds to submit.
Every submit is stored as its own snapshot, so an earlier version is always kept.
Unsubmitted local changes are kept. With --force they're moved to a dated backup folder, not deleted.
Double-click for a simple window with your world list, or script it from the terminal.

Prices in USD. Payments are handled by Stripe; card details never touch our servers. Downgrading never deletes your worlds right away: uploads pause above your space, and you get 6 months to download them or clean up, with emails before anything is removed. Accounts from before plans keep 5 GB free.
One file. Put it anywhere you like, for example on your desktop.
mcvsc.exeSelf-contained, so there's nothing else to install.# one-time, on each PC > mcvsc login # before playing: take the lock + download > mcvsc checkout MyWorld Downloading 12 file(s), 4.2 MB... Checked out 'MyWorld'. You can play now; submit when done. # after closing the game > mcvsc submit MyWorld Submitted 'MyWorld'. Lock released. # read-only copy, no lock > mcvsc pull MyWorld
mcvsc isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen doesn't recognise it. Click More info → Run anyway. The source code is public on GitHub if you'd rather check it first.

Your world stays locked to that PC. Go back and submit when you can. If that PC is gone for good, checkout --force breaks the lock from another PC, as a last resort.
No, on purpose. mcvsc refuses to sync a world the game has open, so it never copies a half-saved file.
1 GB free, then 5 GB (Starter), 25 GB (Plus) or 250 GB (Pro), shared across all your worlds and their versions. A typical survival world is a few hundred MB, and each saved version only stores what changed. Clean up in mcvsc frees old versions.
Nothing is deleted on the spot. New uploads pause until you clean up old versions or upgrade, and your worlds stay downloadable. After cancelling, your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for (failed payments are retried for a while first). If you're still over the free space after that, you have 6 months to download your worlds or clean up, and we email you before anything is removed.
Storing worlds costs real money every month. Paid plans are what keep the free plan free.
Worlds are stored in a private bucket that only signed-in mcvsc requests can reach, using short-lived links. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe. You can delete your account and every file stored for it from the account page at any time. See the privacy policy.
Windows only for now. Other platforms are planned.
