Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [OPERATOR NAME] ("we", "us") about mcvsc: the Windows app, the website and the cloud storage behind them (together, "the service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

mcvsc stores copies of your Minecraft world folders in the cloud and syncs them between your computers. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Mojang Studios or Microsoft. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB.

2. Your account

• You need to be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age for online services where you live, if higher). If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms and to any subscription.
• Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person per account. Don't create accounts in bulk or to get around storage limits.

3. What you can store

Store only Minecraft world data that you have the right to store: your own worlds, or worlds whose owners agreed. Don't use the service to store or share game files, mods, malware, illegal content, or anything that isn't world data. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and we'll tell you why when we can.

Your worlds stay yours. You give us only the permission needed to store, copy and send them back to you so the service works.

4. Plans, billing and cancellation

• Free includes 1 GB of storage (5 GB for accounts created before paid plans existed). Starter (5 GB, yearly), Plus (25 GB) and Pro (250 GB, monthly or yearly) are subscriptions at the prices shown on the website when you subscribe, plus any tax that applies.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (month or year) until you cancel. We email you before a yearly renewal.
• You can cancel any time from the account page (Manage billing). Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then you move to Free.
• Refunds: payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, or if we end the service early (see section 7). If something went wrong, contact us; we're reasonable.
• If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a while and your plan stays active meanwhile. If it still fails, the subscription ends and you move to Free.
• Over your storage limit (on any plan), new uploads pause until you're under it again; your worlds stay downloadable. If you stay over the limit after a paid plan ends, you have 6 months to download your worlds, clean up old versions or subscribe again. We'll email you at least twice during that time. After it, we may delete the oldest versions, and then worlds, until the account is within its limit.
• We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change applies to your subscription.

5. Backups are your call too

We work hard to keep your data safe, but no storage is perfect. Keep your own copy of worlds that matter to you. The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by contract.

7. Ending the service

You can delete your account at any time from the account page; this deletes your data and cancels your subscription. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut mcvsc down, we'll give at least 60 days' notice so you can download your worlds, and refund any unused prepaid period.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. For significant changes we'll email you at least 30 days before they apply. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
